The Vinyl Guide

Made by you, with a little help from us

Your music, your artwork. It’s your own custom made vinyl in only a few steps. So, let’s talk a bit more about these steps so you know what you need to create the perfect vinyl record.

1. Choose your sound

You can upload your own music or personal voice message to create a 10” vinyl record. This record size means you’re able to put 10 minutes of audio per side. We require a MP3  (320kbps), WAV or FLAC file for mastering the track, usually at a sample rate of 44.1kHz and a bit depth of either 16 or 24 bit. This ensures that we’re working with high quality audio from the start.

TIP: Personal voice message

One-off custom vinyls also make great gifts for occasions like weddings, birthdays, Christmas and Valentine’s Day. You’re not just restricted to music! Imagine a birthday wish from your children, the sound of your newborn baby or your marriage proposal on vinyl. It all sounds great on your very own custom vinyl record.

2. Create your cover and labels

No custom vinyl is complete without a stunning cover and centre labels on the vinyl. You can choose from different cover templates or create your own from scratch. So it looks and sounds just the way you like it. We recommend a high resolution .jpeg or .png design for the front/back cover and labels (minimum 2048×2048).

3. Cut by hand, made with love

Next step, choose from our different vinyl colors: black, white & clear transparent vinyl (with additional blue or red transparent colours). Besides the different colors we love to experiment with limited edition shapes. If you like to create a record for your loved one – or music is your first love 😉 – you can, for example, choose a limited heart shaped vinyl record during Valentines Day.

4. Free & Insured shipping

In our Amsterdam based store/production studio, we cut your custom vinyl record by hand and prepare it for a safe journey. Shipping your record is totally free and insured to… well, wherever you are in the world.
